LONG LEAF PINE
These are some of the decorated antique Long Leaf Pine crosses available.  Each cross we create is unique and different.  The small
cross is 8" tall, the medium size on the right is 10" tall and the large one is 12" tall.
Some of our pieces combine contrasting hardwoods with the Long Leaf Pine.  This cross has solid Birch laminated to form the center.
SPALTED PECAN
Our most popular crosses are the ones made from Spalted Pecan.  Multi colored streaks appear in the light
colored wood due to a fungus in the wood.  If the wood in not used, it will continue to rot and kill the tree.  The
cross is finished with Tung Oil for a warm appearance.  Some of the bark of the tree is included on some crosses
for a rustic look.
CHURCH WOOD
We have created crosses using wood from two Churches in Elgin.  A very limited number of crosses have been
made from 1927 era wood used in the construction of the First Baptist Church.  Some of the roofing wood was
removed and saved when a new building was added on the existing Church.
LARGEST CROSS
This is the largest cross we have made so far.  It is 7
1/2 feet tall.  The cross was a gift
to a retired Pastor for his "Little Church in the Woods"
out in the country between Elgin
and Bastrop.  It's made from fresh cut Cedar trees
provided by Pastor Lara.
CANDLE HOLDERS
Our candle holders are made from the same antique Long Leaf Pine as the crosses.  Each is decorated uniquely
included a candle and Votive glass cup.
